One unique auction you will be able to participate in at Celebrate is the Fund-An-Item Auction. This is a Wish List item from the school, a teacher, or a team. This year’s item is called NetClassroom. It is a Blackbaud product that will enable you, the parent, to have access to your child’s grades, attendance, etc. online. No more wondering how Johnny’s doing in Calculus! Just log-on and see for yourself!
This is what Blackbaud has to say about NetClassroom:
NetClassroom allows your school to easily share student information between teachers and parents. It enables parents to check their child’s grades, attendance, conduct and schedule, as well as print report cards and transcripts — all conveniently from home or the office.
NetClassroom also allows students to view daily assignments and grades from a secure Web site. Parents can send email to their student’s teachers directly from NetClassroom and update their address online. A customizable message appearing on NetClassroom’s opening screen alerts parents to important news or events at your school.
