Fr. Tim Daly, President
Since 2004, Fr. Tim has served as President at Lopez Catholic. He is also Parochial Vicar at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Ormond Beach and Catholic Chaplain at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Fr. Tim recently celebrated his 10th anniversary as an ordained priest. Before entering into seminary, Fr. Tim was a professor at the University of Central Florida.

Father Lopez Catholic High School announces the hiring of David Baez as Director of Development.  Mr. Baez will be responsible for all fundraising, marketing/advertising, and public relations for the high school.

A 1993 graduate of Lopez, David’s most recent position has been as the Central Florida Territory Sales Manager for Wayne-Dalton Corporation’s Storm Protection Division.  He has also held a variety of sales management positions during his career, including Director of Sales and Marketing for Ormond Beach based Weather Guard Hurricane Shutters.

At Lopez Catholic, David served as President of the Student Government Association as well as participating in sports and extra-curricular activities.  David, his wife and two daughters are residents of West Volusia.

Becky Owens, Administrative Assistant for Development

Becky Owens joined the team here at Father Lopez in April 2007, after moving here from Maine in February.

Becky previously owned and managed her own business in Maine for 25 years. Upon selling the business, she took a job as Campus Visit and Tour Coordinator at Thomas College in Waterville, Maine. Becky was later promoted to the position of Administrative Assistant for Institutional Advancement where she contributes lots of her learning. While at Thomas, Becky attended Business classes to further her education. Because of her love of people and general interest in this generation’s student and their futures, an education based position is always her first choice, and she is thrilled to be with Father Lopez Catholic High School!

Evahn Smith, Development Secretary

Evahn Smith is secretary for Father Lopez’s Development Office. She is a year away from receiving her A.A.S. Degree in Medical Office Administration at Daytona Beach Community College. This Atlantic High School alumnus is very excited about being a new addition to the Lopez family. Working in the Development Office has helped Evahn broaden her three years
of clerical experience. Evahn has been certified in Microsoft Office since 2004 and she hopes to be a very positive feature to Father Lopez and the Development Office. Go Green Waves!!
