Events & Reunions

Each year, Lopez Catholic families, friends, and event sponsors participate in our special events to raise awareness and support for the school. Here are a few of our events:

CLASS of 1988-- 20-Year Reunion Information

FATHER LOPEZ CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL FAREWELL MASS & RECEPTION A HUGE SUCCESS!

The Farewell Mass of Father Lopez Catholic High School was held on April 20, 2008. This was the last Mass held at the present 960 Madison Ave. location.Mass was celebrated by Rev. Timothy Daly and Deacon Mark Nash, Lopez graduate, class of ’78.

It was an absolutely beautiful day with the sun shining and a just enough breeze to make it comfortable for our guests.
As Lopez family, friends, alumni and guests gathered the morning of April 20th, there was an outpouring of hugs, smiles, and pure joy from being reunited with fellow classmates, and friends. Alumni were delighted to share memories of days gone by with the people who had influenced their lives in so many ways, the faculty of Father Lopez. This day that we set aside to bid farewell to the old stomping grounds of Father Lopez could not have been more enjoyable.

Father Tim asked each decade of Lopez Alumni to stand and be recognized and you could tell they were delighted to do so.

The reception following Mass was prepared for us by the Parent Club of Father Lopez. What a wonderful job they did. Thank you so much to all of you who set up the cafeteria to look so nice and for the preparation of the reception.

Tony Renna Memorial Golf Tournament--HEARTFELT THANK YOU FROM BOOSTER CLUB AND THE GOLF TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE

On behalf of the Lopez Community we want to give a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated or helped to make the Tony Renna Memorial Golf Tournament a huge success. We were extremely happy with the turnout and the support of this meaningful event.

What an honor to share in the joy of raising money in Tony’s memory for such a good cause. Plans are already underway for next year’s event. Pelican Bay's North Course on May 3, 2009
